Welcome to Holly Farm Nurseries

We are a traditional retail nursery based just outside Whitchurch in North Shropshire and close to the historic town of Shrewsbury. We are proud of the fact that we grow the majority of the plants we sell. Our shop offers a range of sundry lines and compost to meets most requirements. Although we grow and sell a wide selection of trees, shrubs, rose, climbers we specialise in producing bedding and basket plants. Our friendly and helpful staff are always willing to give help and advice. If you would like to ask us about our range of products please feel free to contact us. This year we'll be having a much bigger "Grow Your Own" section with trays of young starter plants available. Tomato plants, Cabbages, Lettuce, Spinach, Beetroot and Brocolli to name a few, all produced in our greenhouses. This is the perfect way of giving some thing a go for the first time. You can also buy seeds in our shop. We've also produced a vegetable growing calender, click on the image to download it.
During the year we produce a newsletter with hints, tips, info and offers. You can download this by clicking the image or if you like we can send it out by email, simply fill out the contact form.

Basket Plants
Bedding Plants		 Our speciality is producing bedding and basket plants. We have an extensive range of both including old favourites and newer varieties. Our plants are grown in unheated polytunnels which means that they are strong, tough plants ready for planting straight out. The range is usually available from May. We also sell made up hanging baskets again produced in house. A refill service for your old baskets is also offered.
